During the carnival, the body of a girl is found near Bellinzona. Leonardo Blum and his team will find themselves investigating crimes that have their roots in a past full of shadows. What will be examined is not only the crimes that bloodied the city, but also and above all the human soul, that of a community that believes it has nothing to hide.

RSI Swiss Radio and Television is proud to present the first TV series of national importance entirely produced in Italian-speaking Switzerland, in co-production with Amka Films. The series, selected as part of the serial writing competition promoted by RSI in 2019, features an exceptional cast. The protagonists of Alter ego will in fact be actors of the caliber of Gian Marco Tognazzi, Matteo Martari, Anna Pieri Zürcher and Luca Di Giovanni. The series was created and written by Erik Bernasconi with Carlotta Balestrieri, Claudia Bellana and Andrea Valeri, and is directed by Erik Bernasconi himself and Robert Ralston.
